ICYMI: During National Small Business Week, Rosen Travels To Reno and Las Vegas Discussing Impact of Trump’s Policies on Small Businesses

WASHINGTON, DC – During National Small Business Week, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) traveled to Reno and Las Vegas to talk to small business owners about how the Trump Administration’s harmful policies have hurt them. With 99 percent of all businesses being considered small businesses, Nevada has been severely impacted by Trump’s erratic economic policies that have led to reckless tariffs, rising costs, and a sharp decrease in tourism to the state. In discussions hosted in Reno and Las Vegas, Senator Rosen heard directly from several business owners just how hard it has been in the last year under the Trump Administration.

Senator Rosen is a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship and has been a champion for small businesses in Nevada. This year, she introduced legislation to exempt small businesses and groceries from tariffs, as well as supporting Nevada’s tourism economy. She recently called for a Senate hearing on the state of tourism under the Trump Administration.
