Rosen Applauds House Passage of the American Rescue Plan Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) released the following statement applauding passage of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 in the U.S. House of Representatives:

“I am glad to see the House of Representatives has voted to pass the American Rescue Plan, bringing us one step closer to delivering much-needed relief to Nevadans,” dijo el Senador Rosen. “This bill, which includes direct payments to Americans in need, support for our state’s workforce and small businesses, over $4.1 billion in funding for Nevada’s state and local governments, and enhanced unemployment relief, now heads to the White House to be signed into law by President Biden. As we continue to overcome this pandemic, the American Rescue Plan will also help accelerate vaccine manufacturing and distribution, strengthening our response to COVID-19 and protecting Americans’ health and well-being. I will continue working to see our state through this crisis and to protect the lives and livelihoods of Nevadans.”
