As Nevada\u2019s United States Senator, it\u2019s my responsibility\u00a0and privilege\u00a0to recommend to the President qualified individuals to serve as federal judges who have the support of our community. To ensure that the voices of Nevada\u2019s diverse legal community are reflected on the federal bench, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto\u00a0and I established judicial commissions to select experienced, qualified, and independent nominees through a nonpartisan process. The Northern Nevada and Southern Nevada Judicial Commissions will review and recommend candidates for potential nomination to the District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
