During a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen secured a commitment from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, to recognize servicemembers who served at locations which another U.S. Government agency deems contaminated, locations like the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). While Department of Energy (DoE) employees are recognized for their presumed exposure to radiation, the servicemembers who worked alongside them have still not had their service recognized, preventing them from accessing all the benefits that they deserve through the PACT Act.

I just forced a vote on the Senate floor to overturn a Trump rule that could kick 3.8 million workers out of their jobs. My resolution had bipartisan support, but most Senate Republicans voted it down.
