We will continue to support legislation and programs that strengthen American manufacturers.\u201d<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<u><strong>BACKGROUND:<\/strong><\/u> The University of Nevada, Reno was awarded $500,000 from the Department of Energy for a project entitled \u201cThe Grain Boundary Relaxation (GBR) Approach for Manufacturing of High Strength Nanocrystalline (NC) Lightweight Metals.\u201d Manufacturing NC metals will be increasingly important for critical lightweight structural components.
