Veterans who live in rural Nevada often have to travel long distances to a hospital, and they rely on telehealth services to access the medical care they need.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn a state as large as Nevada, veterans in rural communities often have to travel for hours to visit hospitals and get the health care they need,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cTelehealth services are crucial for giving our nation\u2019s heroes access to medical care from the comfort of their own home. I\u2019m proud that my bipartisan amendment to expand telehealth services for veterans will be included in the Senate\u2019s government funding package.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a leader in supporting our nation\u2019s servicemembers and veterans. She secured authorization for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/03\/14\/as-a-result-of-rosen-led-push-new-reno-veterans-hospital-included-in-presidents-budget\/\">new VA hospital<\/a> in Reno and Nevada\u2019s first-ever <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/04\/21\/rosen-secures-first-ever-veteran-business-outreach-center-in-nevada\/\">Veteran Business Outreach Center<\/a>. Senator Rosen has also co-sponsored the bipartisan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/06\/22\/rosen-joins-bipartisan-legislation-to-protect-veterans-from-predatory-practices-safeguard-benefit-claims\/\"><em>GUARD VA Benefits Act<\/em><\/a> to protect veterans from predatory practices.
