Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/12\/22\/rosen-secures-major-legislative-wins-investments-in-bipartisan-government-funding-legislation\/\">legislation<\/a> that Senator Rosen helped pass last year, all veterans who served between Dec. 7, 1941, and Dec. 31, 1946 are eligible for VA health care and will not have to pay copays, enrollment fees, or monthly premiums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for VA health care, veterans can visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.va.gov\/health-care\/apply\/application\/introduction\">VA\u2019s health care enrollment website<\/a>, call 1-800-MYVA411 (800-698-2411), or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.va.gov\/find-locations\">visit their nearest VA medical center or clinic<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe men and women who bravely served our nation during World War II deserve access to world-class health care,\u201d<strong> dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019m glad to see that all World War II veterans are now eligible to receive no-cost medical and nursing care through the VA without copays, enrollment fees, or premiums. I proudly voted to expand these benefits, and I encourage all Nevadans who qualify to enroll in VA health care today.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a leader in supporting Nevada\u2019s veterans. She recently secured a bipartisan provision to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/10\/26\/rosen-secures-bipartisan-provision-to-expand-telehealth-services-for-veterans-in-senate-government-funding-package\/\">expand telehealth services for veterans<\/a> in this year\u2019s Senate government funding package. She also secured authorization for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/03\/14\/as-a-result-of-rosen-led-push-new-reno-veterans-hospital-included-in-presidents-budget\/\">new VA hospital<\/a> in Reno and Nevada\u2019s first-ever in-state <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/04\/21\/rosen-secures-first-ever-veteran-business-outreach-center-in-nevada\/\">Veteran Business Outreach Center<\/a>. Senator Rosen has also co-sponsored the bipartisan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/06\/22\/rosen-joins-bipartisan-legislation-to-protect-veterans-from-predatory-practices-safeguard-benefit-claims\/\"><em>GUARD VA Benefits Act<\/em><\/a> to protect veterans from predatory practices.
