In her letter, Senator Rosen highlighted the benefits that the <em>Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act<\/em> would have for Nevada, including by cutting taxes for hardworking families, expanding affordable housing options, and making it easier for small businesses to compete on a global scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI write to express my strong support for the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act that passed the U.S. House of Representatives last night with broad support from both sides of the aisle,\u201d <strong>wrote Senator Rosen<\/strong>. \u201cThis bipartisan legislation will lower costs for hardworking Nevada families, increase the supply of affordable housing, and help our small businesses grow and thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt a time when families in Nevada and across the country are facing high costs across the board, this bipartisan tax package would give families some needed breathing room.,\u201d <strong>Senator Rosen continued.<\/strong> \u201cThe need for more affordable housing is growing more urgent by the day, and the provisions in this package will ensure that more Nevadans have access to affordable, quality housing options. \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The full text of the letter can be found <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2.01.24-Tax-Package-Schumer-Letter-Final.pdf\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been fighting to cut taxes for hardworking Nevada families and help lower costs. Last year, she helped introduce the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/06\/29\/rosen-helps-introduce-bill-to-cut-taxes-for-nevada-workers-and-families\/\"><em>Working Families Tax Relief Act<\/em><\/a> to help lower taxes for Nevada families by expanding the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit. Rosen also introduced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/02\/15\/rosen-tester-lead-colleagues-in-introducing-resolution-opposing-republican-plan-to-impose-national-sales-tax\/\">resolution<\/a> opposing the creation of a federal sales tax and calling for a tax cut for working families to grow the middle class.
