As a part of this year\u2019s bipartisan government funding package, she helped secure $400,000 for updated training equipment at UNLV to better prepare the next generation of nurses and help improve patient outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Las Vegas Sun: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lasvegassun.com\/news\/2024\/mar\/29\/rosen-visits-unlv-simulation-center-champions-trai\/\"><strong>Rosen champions Train More Nurses Act at UNLV Simulation Center<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By Katie Ann McCarver<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key Points:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UNLV nursing students dressed in bright red scrubs were hard at work Thursday at the university&#8217;s Clinical Simulation Center, where aspiring nurses can participate in real-life scenarios by treating mannequin patients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U.S. Sen.
