This funding comes from the Solar for All grant program that the Senators created through the <em>Inflation Reduction Act<\/em> and helped pass. This historic funding will help create jobs, lower energy costs for Nevadans, and address the climate crisis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEvery time we invest in Nevada\u2019s solar industry, we invest in good-paying jobs in our state,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen. <\/strong>\u201cI was proud to help secure $156 million to expand Nevadans\u2019 access to solar energy, helping create more jobs and lower energy costs. I\u2019ll continue leading the fight to invest in clean energy and lower costs for all Nevadans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNevada is leading the nation in solar energy, and this grant will make it easier for all communities to take part in our clean energy future,\u201d <strong>said Senator Cortez Masto.<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019ll continue to work to support programs that invest in solar projects, establish partnerships, and create good-paying jobs while lowering energy costs for Nevada families.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto have worked to support Nevada\u2019s clean energy economy. Senator Rosen has been a strong supporter of Nevada\u2019s solar industry, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/response-rosen-efforts-president-biden-stops-threat-solar-tariffs-providing-support-solar-industry\/\">successfully<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/03\/09\/rosen-heinrich-lead-bipartisan-letter-urging-commerce-secretary-to-stop-threat-of-additional-tariffs-on-solar-imports\/\">leading<\/a> the charge, joined by Senator Cortez Masto, against solar tariffs that would have decimated the industry. Both Senators also helped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cortezmasto.senate.gov\/news\/press-releases\/cortez-masto-omnibus-funding-bill-delivers-for-nevada-\">secure<\/a> vital extensions of the renewable energy investment tax credit and the residential renewable energy tax credit to boost solar energy and helped expand these tax credits in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/08\/07\/rosen-votes-to-pass-inflation-reduction-act\/\"><em>Inflation Reduction Act<\/em><\/a> (IRA).
