As Nevadans have made clear all along, this decision will impact hardworking families and small businesses that rely on timely mail delivery,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen. <\/strong>\u201cLet me be absolutely clear: this fight is not over. As a member of the committee with jurisdiction over the Postal Service, I will continue to fight against this ill-advised decision and explore all available options to prevent it from being implemented.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been leading the efforts to support postal operations in Nevada. Senator Rosen recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/04\/16\/video-during-senate-hearing-rosen-blasts-postmaster-general-on-proposed-downsizing-of-reno-mail-processing-facility\/\">called out Postmaster General Louis DeJoy<\/a> during a Senate hearing for neglecting to listen to local Nevada leaders, businesses, and residents, and sounded the alarm on the negative impacts the plan will have on mail service reliability. She has also led Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Congressman Mark Amodei (R-NV-01) in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/04\/11\/rosen-cortez-masto-amodei-meet-with-usps-on-proposed-relocation-of-processing-operations-from-reno-to-sacramento\/\">repeatedly<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/03\/13\/rosen-cortez-masto-join-push-urging-postmaster-general-dejoy-to-prevent-relocation-of-mail-processing\/\">demanding<\/a> that Postmaster General DeJoy provide detailed information about the impact of his misguided proposal.
