She was joined by Tom Blotzke, President of the Northern Nevada Apprenticeship Coordinators Association, and Rob Benner, Secretary-Treasurer of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Northern Nevada.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI was glad to tour the sheet metal apprenticeship and training facility in Reno today, and hear about the critical work they\u2019re doing to train workers to fill good-paying jobs,\u201d<strong> dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019ve been proud to help pass the federal investments that are making these jobs possible, and I\u2019ll keep working in the U.S. Senate to create more union jobs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a strong advocate for Nevada workers. Last year, Senator Rosen helped introduce the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/03\/01\/rosen-helps-introduce-legislation-to-support-workers-rights-establish-strong-labor-standards\/\"><em>Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act<\/em><\/a>, which would strengthen protections for workers\u2019 right to organize a union and bargain for higher wages, better benefits, and safer working conditions.
