class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>CARES Act.<\/span><u1_p><\/u1_p><o_p><\/o_p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif;color:black\">Last month, Rosen helped introduce the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><i>Child&nbsp;Care&nbsp;is Essential Act<\/i>, which would provide&nbsp;$50 billion for stabilization grants to<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>child<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>care providers&nbsp;to help them meet their heightened costs, backfill limited revenue due to COVID-19, and provide tuition relief to working families. In May, Rosen helped introduce the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/node\/1059\/\"><span style=\"color:purple\">Emergency&nbsp;Educational&nbsp;Connections Act<\/span><\/a><\/i>, which would provide $4 billion for the federal E-rate program, ensuring&nbsp;K-12 students have greater&nbsp;home<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt;font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">internet connectivity and devices during the coronavirus pandemic. Last year, Senator Rosen helped introduce the<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><i><span style=\"background-position:initial initial;background-repeat:initial initial\"><span style=\"color:black;background:white\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-ernst-introduce-bipartisan-legislation-invest-small-businesses-make-child-care-more\/\"><span style=\"color:purple\">Small Business Child Care Investment Act<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"background-position:initial initial;background-repeat:initial initial\"><span style=\"color:black;background:white\">, S.2549, bipartisan legislation that would make non-profit child care providers eligible to participate in all loan programs available through the Small Business Administration (SBA). Currently, these non-profits are only eligible to access SBA microloans.
