RENO, NV<\/strong> \u2013 In Reno, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Governor Joe Lombardo held a press conference yesterday where they reaffirmed their strong, bipartisan opposition to the proposed downsizing and relocation of outgoing mail processing by the United States Postal Service (USPS). Senator Rosen also announced she is working on legislation to prevent USPS from moving forward with this misguided plan. Both Senator Rosen and Governor Lombardo reiterated their federal-state partnership as they continue working together to stop this plan from being implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few weeks ago, they sent a bipartisan letter to the Postal Board of Governors, asking them to step in. With it appearing that the Postal Service is moving forward on this,  lawmakers are exploring other avenues to ensure that all Reno outgoing mail facilities stay right here.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
