Rosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-colleagues-introduce-bipartisan-great-american-outdoors-act\/\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">helped introduce<\/span><\/a> the bill earlier this year.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">\u201cI couldn\u2019t be prouder that this bipartisan legislation that I helped introduce is now law,\u201d <b>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/b> \u201cOur public lands and parks are a source of natural wonder and an important part of our heritage in Nevada. I will continue to be a fierce defender of Nevada public lands in Congress and support legislation that allows our natural treasures to be protected for generations to come.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><b><u><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">BACKGROUND:<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">&nbsp;This legislation builds upon previously introduced legislation that Rosen co-sponsored: the <i>Land Water Conservation Fund Permanent Funding Act<\/i> (S. 1081), which will permanently fund LWCF, and the <i>Restore Our Parks Act<\/i> (S. 500), which will provide mandatory funding for National Park Service (NPS) deferred maintenance.
