This bipartisan legislation would<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14.5pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"> direct the U.S. Department of Labor to initiate pilot projects between local community colleges, state and tribal colleges, local boards, advanced manufacturers, and Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) centers, in order to facilitate education and training programs in the field of advanced manufacturing<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"> to help fill the gap between the growth of advanced manufacturing jobs, and individuals qualified with the unique skill set to fill those positions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">In May, Rosen helped introduce the <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-helps-introduce-bicameral-relaunching-americas-workforce-act\/\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">Relaunching America\u2019s Workforce Act<\/span><\/a> <\/i>(S. 3659), which would invest $15 billion in America\u2019s workforce training infrastructure and career and technical education.
