The senators <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/03\/23\/rosen-secures-priorities-for-nevada-in-final-bipartisan-government-funding-package-for-fy2024\/\">announced<\/a> this funding earlier this year as part of the Community Project Funding they secured in the FY24 bipartisan government funding package.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Las Vegas Review-Journal<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reviewjournal.com\/local\/local-las-vegas\/southern-nevada-first-responders-get-a-boost-for-mental-health-services-3160574\/?utm_campaign=widget&amp;utm_medium=section_row&amp;utm_source=homepage&amp;utm_term=Metro%2C+CCFD+get+nearly+%241M+grant+for+first+responders+mental+heath+services\">Southern Nevada first responders get a boost for mental health services<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By Ricardo Torres-Cortez<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The touch of cold water unnerves Clark County Deputy Fire Chief Rian Glassford.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI hate it when my hands touch cold water,\u201d Glassford said Friday, explaining that it brings him back to a tragic day nearly two decades ago when he pulled a boy out of a pool, a toddler who later died.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI can still take you to that house. I can tell you exactly where it was, and I can tell you every single thing that happened,\u201d Glassford said.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He was speaking from Metropolitan Police Department headquarters where Sens.
