These tax credits were established by the <em>Affordable Care Act<\/em> and enhanced via the<em> American Rescue Plan Act<\/em>, and Senator Rosen played a leading role in securing a three-year extension of the enhanced credits as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/08\/07\/rosen-votes-to-pass-inflation-reduction-act\/\"><em>Inflation Reduction Act<\/em><\/a>. Currently, the more generous tax credits are set to expire at the end of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe <em>Affordable Care Act<\/em>\u2019s enhanced premium tax credits have made health care more accessible and affordable for hardworking Nevada families, which is why I led the push to expand them for three years when we passed the <em>Inflation Reduction Act<\/em>,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cWith these tax credits set to expire at the end of next year, I helped introduce legislation to make them permanent and allow Nevadans\u2019 health insurance to stay affordable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been leading the fight to increase access to quality, affordable health care. She helped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/08\/07\/rosen-votes-to-pass-inflation-reduction-act\/\">pass legislation<\/a> to give Medicare the power to negotiate lower prescription drug prices and cap insulin at $35\/month. Earlier this year, Senator Rosen held a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/08\/29\/rosen-hosts-roundtable-discussion-on-efforts-to-improve-health-care-access-for-veterans-in-reno\/\">roundtable<\/a> to discuss efforts to improve health care access for veterans and helped introduce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/03\/27\/rosen-fischer-introduce-bipartisan-bill-to-permanently-protect-va-helpline-for-veterans\/\">bipartisan legislation<\/a> to officially authorize the construction of a new veterans hospital in Reno.
