This project has the potential to power hundreds of homes in Nevada and lower costs for hardworking families, while also expanding access to renewable energy and creating good-paying jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNevada continues to lead the nation in solar energy, bringing good-paying jobs to our state and helping us become more energy independent,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019ve been leading the efforts to secure federal investments in Nevada\u2019s solar energy industry, and I\u2019m glad to see this funding coming to build a new solar project in Northern Nevada. I\u2019ll keep working across party lines to support this important sector and the good-paying jobs it creates.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a strong supporter of Nevada\u2019s clean energy economy. She helped pass the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2021\/08\/10\/rosen-votes-to-pass-infrastructure-investment-and-jobs-act-secures-wins-for-nevada\/\"><em>Bipartisan Infrastructure Law<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/08\/07\/rosen-votes-to-pass-inflation-reduction-act\/\"><em>Inflation Reduction Act<\/em><\/a>, which are making significant investments in Nevada\u2019s clean energy economy and the jobs it supports. Senator Rosen has also been a strong supporter of Nevada\u2019s solar industry, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/response-rosen-efforts-president-biden-stops-threat-solar-tariffs-providing-support-solar-industry\/\">successfully<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/03\/09\/rosen-heinrich-lead-bipartisan-letter-urging-commerce-secretary-to-stop-threat-of-additional-tariffs-on-solar-imports\/\">leading<\/a> the charge against solar tariffs that would have decimated the industry.
