The improvements funded by this award include an additional lane in each direction, shoulder widening, bridge reconstruction, new pavement, and intelligent transportation system facilities. Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Letter-of-Support-NDOT-MEGA-I-80-Widening.pdf\">advocated<\/a> specifically for this project, and the funding was made possible thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2021\/11\/15\/senator-jacky-rosen-applauds-infrastructure-investment-and-jobs-act-becoming-law-attends-white-house-bill-signing-for-historic-bipartisan-package\/\">helped pass<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m proud to have worked across the aisle to secure more than $275 million in federal funding to widen I-80, which will help reduce traffic and support local economic growth,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cThis funding was made possible thanks to the landmark Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that I helped write and pass.
