The legislation was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2020\/05\/29\/rosen-led-never-again-education-act-signed-into-law\/\">originally signed into law<\/a> in 2020 to establish a federal fund through the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum to provide teachers with resources and training to educate students on the lessons of the Holocaust. It was set to expire in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs we work to combat misinformation and hate, it\u2019s crucial that we educate the next generation about the atrocities of the Holocaust and the evil of antisemitism,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019m proud to see my bipartisan legislation to reauthorize the <em>Never Again Education Act<\/em> has become law and will continue providing educators with the resources they need to teach about one of the darkest chapters in human history. I\u2019ll keep working to combat antisemitism in all forms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAntisemitism is on the rise around the globe, and combatting it begins with education,\u201d <strong>said Senator Cramer.<\/strong> \u201cNever again means never forgetting the horrors of the Holocaust. I am glad to see our bipartisan Never Again Education Reauthorization Act pass Congress and be signed into law by the president.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Holocaust horrors must be taught or history may then repeat,\u201d <strong>said Senator Blumenthal.<\/strong> \u201cReauthorizing the Never Again Education Act will ensure teachers have access to the resources they need to thoughtfully educate about one of the darkest chapters in human history. Passage of this legislation takes a step forward to combat antisemitism and fight hate in all its forms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThroughout my decades in public service, I have prioritized efforts to support and expand history and civics education,\u201d <strong>said Senator Cardin.<\/strong> \u201cThe Never Again Education Act was a critical, bipartisan commitment to ensuring that students across our nation receive high quality education specifically about the tragedies and lessons of the Holocaust. Since its original passage, concerns around antisemitism and disinformation have only grown and it has become all the more necessary. I am proud that we are sending this critical reauthorization to the President\u2019s desk to enable this work to continue.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a strong leader in the bipartisan fight to combat antisemitism and Holocaust denial and distortion. She helped launch the first-ever Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/05\/25\/following-their-push-rosen-lankford-manning-smith-applaud-release-of-first-ever-national-strategy-to-counter-antisemitism\/\">led the push<\/a> to create the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/U.S.-National-Strategy-to-Counter-Antisemitism.pdf\">first-ever national strategy to counter antisemitism<\/a> released last year. Senator Rosen also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/10\/25\/rosen-helps-introduce-bipartisan-resolution-condemning-antisemitism-on-college-campuses\/\">helped introduce a bipartisan resolution<\/a> denouncing antisemitism at institutions of higher education, which passed the Senate unanimously.
