Senator Rosen is the co-chair and co-founder of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2022\/01\/10\/rosen-colleagues-launch-bipartisan-senate-abraham-accords-caucus\/\">Senate Abraham Accords Caucus<\/a>, and led a group of seven Senate colleagues on a historic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/01\/24\/rosen-lankford-lead-colleagues-in-historic-bipartisan-delegation-visit-to-abraham-accords-countries\/\">delegation visit<\/a> to Israel, Morocco, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2023. A strong supporter of Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, she is the first Nevada senator appointed to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt a time when America\u2019s adversaries are looking to upend our global leadership and destabilize our alliances, I\u2019m joining the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to be a strong voice supporting our allies and fighting for freedom, democracy, and justice around the globe,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019ll continue working with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to strengthen U.S. global partnerships and counter threats from Iran, Russia, and China. As a member of the committee, I\u2019ll also make sure the United States\u2019 commitment to supporting our democratic ally Israel remains unwavering and unconditional.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a strong leader in the push to support Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, and counter Iran, Russia, and China. Following the October 7th terrorist attack on Israel, Senator Rosen has repeatedly taken action to ensure Israel receives the unconditional support necessary to defend itself and defeat Hamas. She helped pass <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/02\/13\/rosen-helps-pass-package-to-support-israel-ukraine-tackle-fentanyl-crisis\/\">critical aid<\/a> to support Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan and respond to humanitarian crises around the globe. Senator Rosen was also outspoken in <a href=\"https:\/\/thenevadaindependent.com\/article\/rosen-cortez-masto-break-with-biden-admin-call-to-refreeze-iranian-assets\">pushing<\/a> her own party to counter Iranian aggression, including by freezing its assets. She sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/12\/22\/rosen-ernst-call-on-administration-to-fully-leverage-relationship-with-qatar-to-releas\/\">bipartisan letter<\/a> calling on President Biden to leverage the U.S. relationship with Qatar to secure the immediate release of the remaining hostages held in Gaza by Hamas and has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/11\/01\/rosen-rubio-lead-bipartisan-letter-urging-administration-to-redesignate-the-houthis-as-a-foreign-terrorist-organization\/\">urged<\/a> the Administration to designate the Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">###<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON, DC \u2013 Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) announced that she has been appointed to serve on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in the 119th Congress.
