Nevada has the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-tips-taxes-nevada-0fc5fa0fb7bdcf963757c748c01bfbe9\">highest<\/a> concentration of tipped workers in the nation, and the bipartisan <em>No Tax on Tips Act<\/em> would allow workers to keep their tips without paying federal income tax on them. Jacky Rosen reintroduced bipartisan legislation that would implement \u201cno taxes on tips,\u201d a major campaign promise of President-elect Donald Trump.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cWe have the highest percentage of tipped workers than any other state,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s important that working people get more of the money they earn in their pockets.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rosen and Cruz\u2019s bill includes provisions to prevent people from taking advantage. Someone who makes over $150,000 would not be affected by the bill, Rosen said.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Nevada senator\u2019s bill does not eliminate the subminimum wage, but she does support eliminating it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>So far the bill has received support from Nevada\u2019s largest union.
