This care is guaranteed under the <em>Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act (PACT Act)<\/em>, which Senator Rosen voted for and passed with overwhelming bipartisan support. It has since provided care and benefits to over 1 million veterans. Contracts targeted for cancellation by the Trump Administration help provide the necessary personnel and resources to conduct outreach to eligible veterans, screen applicants, and process claims. The senators are demanding that Trump reinstate all PACT Act contracts and commit to preserving all PACT Act-related programs in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCarrying out such arbitrary cuts and contract cancellations under the excuse of eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse is exactly the form of cynical action that prioritizes talking points about wasteful government spending rather than helping the veterans who have honorably served the American people. Any actions to hamstring implementation of the PACT Act \u2013 which passed with overwhelming bipartisan support \u2013 betrays our veterans and fully disregards congressional intent,\u201d <strong>wrote the senators.<\/strong> \u201cWe ask that you take immediate action to protect and preserve all relevant programs, employees, and contractors in support of PACT Act implementation and ensure they remain unharmed by any further plans by you and DOGE.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The full letter can be found <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Letter-to-VA-re-PACT-Act-Cuts-FINAL.pdf\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been fighting for Nevada\u2019s veterans. She has sent letters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/03\/17\/rosen-colleagues-demand-department-of-veterans-affairs-reverse-course-on-plans-to-reduce-workforce\/\">demanding<\/a> that the VA reverses harmful plans to reduce their workforce, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/03\/13\/rosen-calls-on-trump-administration-to-permanently-reverse-layoffs-of-department-of-veterans-affairs-employees-in-nevada\/\">calling on<\/a> the VA to permanently reverse layoffs, and pushing for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/02\/21\/rosen-cortez-masto-demand-department-of-veterans-affairs-provides-answers-regarding-mass-employee-terminations\/\">answers<\/a> regarding mass employee terminations. Earlier this month, she helped introduce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/03\/12\/rosen-helps-introduce-bill-to-reinstate-veterans-wrongfully-fired-by-trump-elon-musk\/\">legislation<\/a> to reinstate veterans wrongfully fired by President Trump and Elon Musk. She also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/03\/06\/on-senate-floor-rosen-calls-on-trump-administration-to-reverse-layoffs-at-department-of-veterans-affairs\/\">took to the Senate floor<\/a> to oppose the actions of the Trump Administration and Musk to mass fire employees working at the VA.
