However, during this pandemic, this important sector of our economy has been hit especially hard,\u201d <b>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/b> \u201cI\u2019m glad to have this chance to speak with members of the Reno + Sparks Chamber to discuss the federal resources that are available to Nevada\u2019s small businesses. I will continue to work to protect Nevada\u2019s business community and fight for critical programs that support jobs and small business growth.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><b><u><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">BACKGROUND:<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"> Last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-statement-administrations-decision-loosen-paycheck-protection-program-rules-gaming-small\/\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">Rosen led the charge to expand the Paycheck Protection Program<\/span><\/a> (PPP) to include small gaming businesses. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/senate-passes-rosen-backed-legislation-extend-small-business-relief-program\/\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">Also last year<\/span><\/a>, Rosen was one of six Senators to introduce and help pass bipartisan legislation to extend the U.S. Small Business Administration\u2019s authority to approve PPP loans to small businesses through August 8, 2020.
