It\u2019s the most innovative conservation program anywhere.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><b><u><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">BACKGROUND:<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"> This funding will be divided into the following Nevada Department of Wildlife initiatives:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">$12,176,969 &#8211; Wildlife Restoration Fund<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">$6,160,653 &#8211; Sport Fish Restoration Fund<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">The Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration (WSFR) program, which administers these funds, is a unique partnership between state wildlife agencies, the outdoor industry, and the Service.&nbsp;When hunters, anglers, and boaters purchase equipment and fuel, the manufacturers, producers, and importers of those goods pay into the Wildlife Restoration, Sport Fish Restoration, and Boating trust funds. These funds are distributed by the Service to ensure wildlife agencies in all states, commonwealths, and territories receive support.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">State wildlife agencies dedicate WSFR funds to a variety of conservation projects and programs.
