Business Roundtable, Honeywell, the Vegas Chamber, the Reno + Sparks Chamber of Commerce, the Nevada Urban Chamber of Commerce, and the Latin Chamber of Commerce Nevada, Inc., and the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span provide a refundable tax credit to&nbsp;businesses&nbsp;and nonprofit organizations that purchase or&nbsp;upgrade&nbsp;their air&nbsp;ventilation, filtration, or purification&nbsp;systems&nbsp;to&nbsp;help&nbsp;mitigate the&nbsp;spread&nbsp;of&nbsp;COVID-19&nbsp;and other airborne diseases.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#222222\">Specifically, the&nbsp;<i>FRESH AIR for&nbsp;Businesses&nbsp;Act<\/i>&nbsp;would:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-left:23px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"tab-stops:list .5in\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#222222\">Provide&nbsp;businesses&nbsp;with a refundable payroll tax credit of up to $15,000 per location to cover 50 percent of qualified HVAC purchase, installation, or&nbsp;upgrade&nbsp;expenses incurred between February 1, 2020 and January 1, 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:23px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"tab-stops:list .5in\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">Covered expenses include:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:none\">\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle\">\n<li style=\"margin-left:31px\"><span which use UV-base purification, or which provide fresh air supply of at least 17 cubic feet per minute per occupant and have the ability to direct air to minimize air exchange between neighboring zones,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:none\">\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle\">\n<li style=\"margin-left:31px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"tab-stops:list 1.0in\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#222222\">Purchasing standalone air cleaners and purifiers capable of providing at least 5 air changes per hour and using HEPA filters, UV-based purification, or EAC or ionization technology.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type:none\">\n<ul
