Rosen\u2019s bipartisan resolution also celebrates the release of Israeli-American Edan Alexander, calls for Hamas to immediately release the remaining hostages, and urges the White House to use every available tool to secure their freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor more than 600 days, the remaining Israeli hostages have endured unimaginable cruelty at the hands of Hamas,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen. <\/strong>\u201cWhile in Israel last week, I paid my respects at the sites where innocent people were brutally murdered or taken hostage by Hamas, and I reaffirmed my commitment to do everything I can to make sure the remaining hostages are reunited with their families. I\u2019m glad to see this bipartisan resolution advance through committee, and I\u2019ll keep pushing for it to be passed by the full Senate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Jacky Rosen has been a steadfast advocate for the safety and security of Israeli and American hostages and a vocal opponent of Hamas\u2019s acts of terror. In January 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/01\/15\/rosen-statement-on-deal-reached-between-israel-and-hamas-to-free-hostages-pause-fighting-in-gaza\/\">she expressed strong support<\/a> for a deal between Israel and Hamas to release hostages and pause fighting, reaffirming America\u2019s commitment to Israel\u2019s security. In October 2023, following a visit to Israel where she met with families of those taken captive, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/10\/18\/rosen-introduces-bipartisan-senate-resolution-demanding-safe-release-of-hostages-from-hamas\/\">she introduced<\/a> a bipartisan resolution, which later passed the Senate, condemning Hamas\u2019s attacks and demanding the release of hostages. That same month, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/10\/18\/rosen-cortez-masto-join-bipartisan-letter-urging-president-biden-to-do-everything-in-his-power-to-rescue-american-hostages\/\">she also joined a bipartisan letter<\/a> urging President Biden to do everything possible to rescue American hostages.
