Senator Rosen blasted the move, calling it a betrayal of Nevada\u2019s rural communities and a direct threat to the state\u2019s ability to close the digital divide. The BEAD program, which Rosen helped create and fund in a bipartisan effort, was set to deliver $416 million to Nevada to expand internet access to the hardest-to-reach parts of the state. Now, under new Trump Administration guidance, that approval has been rescinded \u2014 delaying critical broadband infrastructure projects and jeopardizing progress for communities in need.
