Wade<\/em>, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) joined Senate colleagues in introducing the <em>Women\u2019s Health Protection Act <\/em>to enshrine Roe protections in federal law and restore women\u2019s reproductive freedom. Specifically, this bill would help overturn and prevent extreme abortion bans and reproductive care restrictions that are putting at risk the lives of women in states across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWomen deserve the freedom to make their own health care decisions without interference from politicians,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen. <\/strong>\u201cSince <em>Roe<\/em> was overturned, we\u2019ve seen the dangerous consequences of extreme anti-choice bans that put women\u2019s lives at risk and gut access to critically-needed health care. Women have died because of this. I\u2019m proud to help introduce the Women\u2019s Health Protection Act to restore Roe and protect the right to reproductive care.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a fighter for women\u2019s reproductive rights, taking action to safeguard access to essential health care for women. Earlier this year, Senator Rosen joined Senate colleagues in introducing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/02\/10\/rosen-helps-introduce-right-to-contraception-act\/\"><em>Right to Contraception Act<\/em><\/a>, aimed at federally guaranteeing the right to obtain and use contraceptives and shielding providers who prescribe and offer them.
