These cuts have affected programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, making it harder for Nevadans to access much-needed services. The cuts have also dismantled federal agencies and resulted in the firing of experienced federal staff, causing immediate and widespread harm to communities in Nevada and across the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDonald Trump\u2019s reckless funding freeze and cuts to programs that American families rely on have dire consequences,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cThese wrongheaded actions are hurting Nevadans who rely on Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, and so many other critical programs. She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/25.02.26-CCM-Rosen-Letter-to-SSA-DOGE-GSA-on-Las-Vegas-SS-Office-Closure.pdf\">demanded answers<\/a> from the Acting Social Security Administration Commissioner on the planned relocation of a Social Security office in Las Vegas. She also voted against Trump\u2019s reconciliation bill that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/07\/01\/rosen-statement-on-senate-republicans-passing-extreme-bill-to-strip-health-care-food-assistance-from-nevadans\/\">cut both food assistance and medical care<\/a>, and his rescissions bill that cut <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/07\/17\/rosen-statement-on-senate-republicans-passing-extreme-bill-to-strip-rural-communities-of-public-broadcasting-services\/\">public broadcasting<\/a>.
