Senator Rosen toured the facility and then held a press conference alongside Northern Nevada HOPES CEO Sharon Chamberlain and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Faith Whittier to highlight how the cuts \u2014 passed as part of the recent \u201cOne Big Beautiful Bill\u201d reconciliation package \u2014 will threaten care for Nevadans who rely on Medicaid, including over one-third who are children, while also reducing critical funding for hospitals and health centers statewide.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMedicaid is a critical lifeline for so many families in our state, helping nearly a million Nevadans obtain access to health care,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u201cBy gutting this critical program, Washington Republicans are taking away this lifesaving care for so many, making it harder for families to access health care. I\u2019ll keep fighting to reverse these cuts and ensure Nevadans have access to affordable, quality medical care.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen Medicaid is restricted, people delay care. Preventable conditions escalate. Emergency rooms fill up.
