The Council serves as the museum\u2019s board of trustees, which includes appointees from the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">Last Congress, Senator Rosen launched the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-launches-bipartisan-task-force-combating-anti-semitism\/\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Anti-Semitism<\/span><\/a>, with co-chair Senator James Lankford (R-OK).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">Also last Congress, Senator Rosen, joined by Senators Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), introduced the <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-led-never-again-education-act-signed-law\/\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">Never Again Education Act<\/span><\/a><\/i>, bipartisan legislation to establish a dedicated federal fund to provide teachers with resources and training necessary to teach our students the important lessons of the Holocaust. The bill was signed into law in May 2020.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">In January 2020, Senators Rosen, Lankford (R-OK), Cardin (D-MD), Cramer (R-ND), and Menendez (D-NJ) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-lankford-menendez-cramer-cardin-introduce-bipartisan-resolution-commemorating-75th\/\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">introduced a <\/span>bipartisan <span style=\"color:#0563c1\">resolution<\/span><\/a> commemorating the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp by Allied Forces during World War II.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">Senator Rosen holds the distinction of being the third female Jewish Senator in U.S. history, as well as the first former synagogue president to serve in the United States Senate.
