The <em>FAMILY Act<\/em> would guarantee up to 12 weeks of partial income for workers who need to take leave for serious medical or family events. Paid medical and family leave is especially beneficial for new parents, caregivers, and those with serious health conditions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFamilies across Nevada deserve the security and peace of mind that comes as a result of access to paid family and medical leave,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cNo person should worry about losing their paycheck because of the birth of a child, a serious family situation, or emergency. This bill will give hardworking Nevada families critical support and economic stability when they need it most.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has worked consistently to provide sensible health care and senior care solutions for Nevadans. Recently, Rosen introduced bills to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/09\/12\/rosen-cornyn-introduce-legislation-to-lower-out-of-pocket-prescription-drug-costs-for-seniors-with-chronic-health-conditions\/\">lower prescription drug costs for seniors<\/a> and establish a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/09\/11\/rosen-boozman-introduce-bill-to-establish-national-advisory-commission-on-long-term-senior-care-services\/\">national advisory committee<\/a> for long-term care. She\u2019s also recently introduced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/06\/05\/rosen-introduces-bipartisan-bills-to-expand-access-to-palliative-care-hospice-care\/\">legislation<\/a> to expand access to palliative care.
