Rather than reward Argentina\u2019s president and agricultural producers, we encourage you to focus on policies that support American farmers and ranchers and that bring down costs for all Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn addition, we are concerned that this plan could also introduce serious animal health threats that further cripple U.S. cattle production at a time of low cattle supply\u2026\u201d <strong>the Senators continued. <\/strong>\u201c\u2026these animal health threats would pose severe risks to U.S. livestock production, disrupt domestic and international trade, and have far-reaching economic consequences across rural communities and the agricultural supply chain.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full letter can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Argentina-Beef-Letter.pdf\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a><strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has been a strong advocate for Nevada\u2019s ranchers and cattlemen and cattlewomen. In 2024, she<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/01\/11\/rosen-cortez-masto-bipartisan-colleagues-urge-ag-committee-leadership-to-address-long-term-drought-in-farm-bill\/\"> sent a bipartisan letter<\/a> calling on the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition &amp; Forestry to address long-term drought in the Farm Bill out of concern for its negative impacts on farmers and ranchers in Nevada. Last Congress, she twice broke with her own party to support Nevada\u2019s agriculture industry, once to block proposed regulations of U.S. waterways that would have hurt Nevada\u2019s farmers and ranchers and once to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/03\/04\/rosen-stands-up-for-nevada-ranchers-cattlemen-pushes-to-block-harmful-biden-administration-effort\/\">deny<\/a> beef imports from Paraguay.
