This legislation, introduced by Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI), and co-sponsored by Senator Rosen, will address the rise of hate crimes and violence against the Asian Americans and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. &nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">\u201cAsian Americans in Nevada are part of the rich, diverse communities that make up our state. Unfortunately, during this pandemic, we have witnessed horrific and violent acts committed against the AAPI community,\u201d&nbsp;<b>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/b>&nbsp;\u201cNo one in this country should have to fear for their safety and the safety of their family and loved ones.
