Two weeks ago, Senator Rosen and her colleagues sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/FY26-LIHEAP-Release.pdf\">letter<\/a> demanding the Trump Administration release these funds that are critical for Nevada families and seniors to afford energy costs during the winter months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs rising energy costs continue to squeeze hardworking Nevada families, I\u2019m fully committed to doing everything I can to provide them with financial relief,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cI\u2019m proud to have helped secure this funding to lower energy costs for Nevadans ahead of the winter season. As long as I\u2019m in the Senate, I\u2019ll keep pushing to make life more affordable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen has consistently worked to lower energy costs for Nevadans. In August, she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/08\/20\/rosen-helps-secure-funding-to-lower-energy-costs-for-nevada-families\/\">secured<\/a> $1.7 million in funding from the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which helps low-income families reduce energy costs by increasing energy efficiency in their homes. Last year, she secured over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/11\/14\/rosen-cortez-masto-announce-over-15-million-to-help-nevada-families-lower-their-energy-costs\/\">$15 million<\/a> in Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) funding for the state. Senator Rosen has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2024\/05\/30\/rosen-joins-effort-calling-on-doj-to-use-every-tool-to-prevent-prosecute-price-gouging-at-gas-pump\/\">called on<\/a> the Department of Justice to crack down on price fixing and gouging at the gas pump.
