The letter also requests NTIA to provide a public accounting of unspent BEAD funds for each state, clarification of NTIA\u2019s current interpretation of allowable \u201cnon-deployment\u201d uses, and a timetable for revised guidance on non-deployment funds.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe write to request the agency\u2019s attention to a major question emerging within the BEAD Program,\u201d <strong>wrote the Senators.<\/strong> \u201cUnder the latest BEAD Notice of Funding Opportunity, many states likely will \u2014 or already do \u2014 have leftover BEAD allocations. She worked across party lines to help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2021\/11\/15\/senator-jacky-rosen-applauds-infrastructure-investment-and-jobs-act-becoming-law-attends-white-house-bill-signing-for-historic-bipartisan-package\/\">create<\/a> the BEAD program, having helped write the broadband section of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2021\/11\/15\/senator-jacky-rosen-applauds-infrastructure-investment-and-jobs-act-becoming-law-attends-white-house-bill-signing-for-historic-bipartisan-package\/\"><em>Bipartisan Infrastructure Law<\/em><\/a>, which secured $65 billion in nationwide investments to make high-speed internet affordable for Americans. She also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2023\/05\/30\/rosen-successfully-pushes-administration-to-fix-broadband-map-ensures-nevada-gets-more-funding-for-high-speed-internet\/\">successfully pushed<\/a> the Federal Communications Commission to update its deeply flawed National Broadband Map and ensure Nevada receives its fair share of BEAD funding.
