Around half of families in the United States live in \u201cchild care deserts\u201d, with few options for licensed child care. This is an even greater problem for rural areas, low-income, and minority communities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">\u201cThe COVID-19 pandemic has made access to quality, affordable child care all the more difficult; hindering parents &#8212; particularly mothers &#8212; from taking part in our workforce,\u201d <b>dijo el Senador Rosen. <\/b>&#8220;Even before the onset of COVID-19, half of U.S. families reported difficulty finding access to affordable child care \u2013 hurting their financial stability and stunting our nation\u2019s economic growth. text-decoration:underline\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">report<\/span><\/a> from the Center for American Progress, half of all families lived in \u201cchild care deserts\u201d &#8211; areas without sufficiently available child care. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">According to a 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epi.org\/child-care-costs-in-the-united-states\/#\/NV\" style=\"color:#0563c1;
