This funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture\u2019s Rural Development Grant will support the expansion of the residential treatment facility, which provides psychiatric support, primary and mental health services, substance abuse treatment, and basic skills training to Nevadans in need.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m pleased to see more federal funding coming to our state to support Fallon,\u201d <strong>dijo el Senador Rosen. <\/strong>\u201cAs rural communities face difficulties accessing health care and mental care, funding like this is essential for the well-being of hardworking families in all corners of Nevada. I\u2019ll keep working across party lines to deliver the federal resources that Nevada deserves.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThanks to the New Frontier Health Care Center, residents of Fallon don\u2019t have to travel for miles to seek needed mental health treatment,\u201d <strong>said Senator Catherine Cortez Masto.<\/strong> \u201cWith this new funding, New Frontier will be better equipped to care for both its patients and its staff. I will never stop fighting to ensure rural Nevada has access to high-quality, affordable health care.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto have been steadfast champions for Nevada\u2019s hospitals and health centers, and they have been strongly opposed to Washington Republican efforts to gut Americans\u2019 access to health care. Earlier this year, they helped introduce the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2025\/01\/13\/rosen-helps-introduce-legislation-to-make-enhanced-affordable-care-act-tax-credits-permanent-prevent-higher-health-care-costs-for-families\/\"> Health Care Affordability Act<\/a> to make permanent the ACA\u2019s enhanced premium tax credits \u2014 ensuring that Nevada families can continue to afford coverage beyond 2025.
