The resolution came as the Supreme Court\u2019s initial administrative stay in <em>Louisiana v. FDA<\/em> was set to expire \u2014 which would have allowed the Fifth Circuit\u2019s ruling to go into effect, threatening millions of women\u2019s access to mifepristone, even in states where abortion is legal. The Supreme Court eventually ruled to extend the stay until the case makes it fully through the legal process, allowing mifepristone to remain available via telehealth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMifepristone has been used safely and effectively for decades and restricting access unnecessarily puts women\u2019s lives at risk. This is another example of Trump and extreme Republicans trying to restrict a woman\u2019s right to make her own health care decisions,\u201d<strong> dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/strong> \u201cWhile this case makes its way through the legal process, I will do everything that I can to ensure access to mifepristone. I will always fight to protect women\u2019s reproductive rights.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Rosen continues to fight to support women\u2019s reproductive freedom. She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/2026\/03\/26\/rosen-votes-to-overturn-extreme-trump-abortion-ban-for-women-veterans\/\">voted to overturn <\/a>the Trump Administration\u2019s extreme rule ending life-saving abortion counseling and reproductive care for veterans.
