Thank you to Senator Rosen for supporting this bill and protecting working Nevadans in the Senate.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><b><u><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">BACKGROUND:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">&nbsp;Senator Rosen a co-sponsor of: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">los<i> Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act<\/i>, which would strengthen federal protections for workers&#8217; right to organize and bargain for higher wages, better benefits, and safer working conditions. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">los <i>Butch Lewis Act<\/i>,<i> <\/i>which was signed into law as part of the <i>American Rescue Plan Act<\/i> to address looming funding shortfalls in struggling multi-employer pension plans.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">los <i>Raise the Wage Act<\/i>,<i> <\/i>which would raise the federal minimum wage gradually to $15 an hour by 2025, and index the minimum wage to median wage growth beginning in 2026.
