The legislation also outlines plans to support hard-working families in Nevada and across our nation by cutting taxes for working families, by extending the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Child Tax Credit, and the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit, and also by establishing a first-ever federal paid family and medical leave benefit.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">\u201cThe budget resolution allows us to strengthen health care in the United States by adding dental, vision, and hearing benefits to the Medicare program and investing in home-based care programs for our nation\u2019s seniors,\u201d<b> Senator Rosen continued. <\/b>\u201cThis resolution also empowers us to take steps to address the urgent issue of climate change by providing a framework for greater development of clean, renewable energy and climate resilience initiatives in Nevada and nationwide.
