I will continue working in Congress to improve the lives of workers in Nevada and across the nation, as well as fight for the respect, dignity, and support that working Nevadans deserve.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><b><u><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">BACKGROUND:<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">&nbsp;Senator Rosen a co-sponsor of:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">los <i>Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act<\/i>, which would strengthen federal protections for workers&#8217; right to organize and bargain for higher wages, better benefits, and safer working conditions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">los<i> Butch Lewis Act<\/i>, which was signed into law as part of the American Rescue Plan Act to address looming funding shortfalls in struggling multi-employer pension plans.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">los <i>Raise the Wage Act<\/i>, which would raise the federal minimum wage gradually to $15 an hour by 2025, and index the minimum wage to median wage growth beginning in 2026.
