Telehealth programs are greatly benefitting Nevada, and this funding will allow Nevada Health Centers to continue investing in and expanding their telehealth programs, increasing access to health care for Nevadans.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><b><u><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">BACKGROUND:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">Nevada Health Centers is a Community Health Center providing health care services throughout the state. Nevada has been awarded <span style=\"color:black\">$995,087 to secure telehealth carts, peripherals, and virtual conferencing equipment, as well as provider training required to facilitate secure health care to patients in urban, rural, and frontier communities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">In June, Rosen led a bipartisan group of senators in <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">introducing the&nbsp;<i><span style=\"color:#1f497d\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-leads-bipartisan-group-senators-introduce-bipartisan-legislation-expand-access-telehealth\/\" style=\"color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline\">Rural and Frontier Telehealth Expansion&nbsp;Act<\/a><\/span><\/i><span style=\"color:black\">.
