I also had the opportunity to sit down with medical professionals and patients to discuss barriers to care, such as the high cost of medication, and the work I\u2019m doing in Congress to lower the cost of prescription drugs. I will continue fighting to protect the health and wellbeing of all Nevadans.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"background:white\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><b><u><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">BACKGROUND:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:black\">&nbsp;In March, Senator Rosen voted to pass the&nbsp;<i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosen.senate.gov\/es\/rosen-votes-pass-american-rescue-plan-act\/\"><span style=\"color:#0563c1\">American&nbsp;Rescue&nbsp;Plan&nbsp;Act<\/span><\/a><\/i>, which was signed into law by President Biden that same month.
