The bill included $3 billion in supplemental funding to assist communities <span style=\"color:black\">nationwide in their efforts to accelerate economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and build local economies that are resilient to future economic&nbsp;shocks.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto worked to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cortezmasto.senate.gov\/news\/press-releases\/cortez-masto-klobuchar-colleagues-call-for-additional-funding-for-tourism-economic-development-projects\"><span style=\"color:blue\">ensure<\/span><\/a> the American Rescue Plan\u2019s $3 billion in EDA funding was directed to communities and states hardest hit by the COVID pandemic, including Nevada.
