The bill would also work toward deploying a simple, easy-to-remember dialing code for veterans to use to immediately connect them to all of the VA\u2019s resources.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">\u201cVeterans in Nevada and across the country have served our nation proudly, and they deserve easier access to help and resources from the VA,\u201d <b>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/b> \u201cOur bipartisan plan would permanently establish a VA helpline and lay the groundwork for an easy-to-remember three-digit phone number for veterans to access to all of the critical benefits and services that the VA provides. With this Veterans Assistance Helpline, we can expedite and streamline access to support for our nation\u2019s heroes as they navigate the transition to civilian life.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">\u201cThe bravery, service, and sacrifice of America\u2019s veterans have protected our way of life,\u201d <b>said Senator Fischer.<\/b> \u201cToday Senator Rosen and I are continuing our bipartisan work to facilitate more user-friendly access to VA services over the phone. Through this bill, we can make life just a little bit easier for the veterans of today and future generations of our nation\u2019s veterans.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">el bipartidista <i>Veterans Assistance Helpline Act<\/i> would direct the VA to permanently establish a toll-free telephone helpline&#8211;a one-stop-shop&#8211;for veterans to obtain information about the benefits and services provided by the VA, to include services available to them locally. The bill would also direct the VA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), to conduct a study to assess the feasibility of designating a shorter dialing <span style=\"color:black\">code for veterans to access the toll-free helpline.
