This record-high funding, secured as part of the Rosen-backed <i>American Rescue Plan Act<\/i>, invests in Nevada through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#0e101a\">\u201cThanks to the American Rescue Plan, Nevadans will have more support and assistance with their energy costs to keep their homes warm this winter,\u201d <b>dijo el Senador Rosen.<\/b> \u201cI\u2019m proud to have helped secure this record-high level of funding for Nevada, which will help lower costs for hardworking families and help them make ends meet, and I will continue fighting to ensure Nevada always receives its fair share of federal resources.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\"><span style=\"color:#0e101a\">LIHEAP is a federally funded program that helps low-income households with their home energy bills by providing payment as well as energy crisis assistance. In 2020, more than 26,000 Nevada households were served by the LIHEAP program.
