The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law includes her <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:italic\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">Middle Mile Broadband Deployment Act<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">, which will invest $1 billion in broadband infrastructure to connect internet carriers to local networks and community institutions in order to increase broadband access to unserved and underserved communities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height:1.2; background-color:#ffffff\"><span style=\"font-size:13.999999999999998pt; font-variant:normal; white-space:pre-wrap\"><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman'\"><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><span style=\"font-style:normal\"><span style=\"text-decoration:none\">Most of the infrastructure funding will be subject to prevailing wage protections that Senator Rosen championed. This means that contractors will have to pay workers a fair wage that is competitive in local markets.
